  we have a lot of fans of the wagamama sauce range and they are currently available in most major supermarkets including sainsbury’s, tesco and waitrose

• does wagamama take bookings?
  

  wagamama doesn't usually take reservations however select restaurants can take big bookings on request. to make a big booking enquiry, please click on "big bookings" on the homepage. if your local wagamama doesn't take big bookings, it is worth letting the restaurant know in advance should you require more table space because we always aim to accommodate large parties where possible. if there happens to be a queue it does move very quickly which gives you a few extra minutes to study the menu and decide on which dish you fancy

• when was wagamama founded and by whom?
  

  wagamama was founded by alan yau in 1992. he then left in 1998 to pursue other restaurant ventures

• are there franchise opportunities?
  

  yes, there are franchise opportunities in some global locations. wagamama restaurants in the uk and usa are company owned and do not franchise. there are franchise opportunities available in other parts of the world, just make sure we are not there already! for further information refer to our franchise section

• does wagamama cater for specific dietary requirements?
  

  we have a wide range of dishes and main courses which are perfect for those people with dietary requirements. check out our dietary requirements page in the food and drink section of this site for an idea on what you can choose from. when you visit the restaurant, let your server know when ordering so they can ensure everything is perfect with the dish

  we understand that nutritional information is very important for some of our customers. while it is something we are unable to provide at the moment, we are looking to introduce this online next year
